Second Commission process

Duplicating the spontaneity of the background of the smaller piece was a challenge and I had to start over 3 times to get the look I wanted

Then it was a matter of warming up on a test pad for the palm trees and the palm shrub. I delivered the paintings and the lady was happy. I still kept looking at the small shrub and wished for one more branch coming out at about 9:45 so will go to her home add add it before they go to the framers.

Looking back at the smaller painting, I went back to the shrub and added more intermix of branches and roughed up the bark on the shrub and the trees ( a little hard to see here). So now both smaller paintings are going onto the website, 12x24"
