First of a pair of Landscapes

I have a commission to create 2 landscape paintings to hang on either side of a fireplace.  We have discussed some photo references and I will prepare drawings and a smaller sample of each to present for comments before doing the finished pieces.

Now to draw on the tracing paper for the full size 15x30 and then the smaller version.

Now time to test some colors in my sketchbook. Went to some YouTube demos on painting palm trees that were helpful.
