Riding Through The Village

I'm working on a commission for 2 side by side paintings and thought a stylized version of our village would be fun. This iw where I started after taking some photos.

I decided the scale of the bulldogs was too small for the 16x20 format and that the center tree was too dominant.  May finish this some time as a smaller painting

After drawing the buildings, I did the first pours for the background and the first layer on the buildings.

The people on the bicycles and bench were protected with masking fluid as well as some of the window details. Then, I added the tree trunks and main branches.
