The Abstract ClassI

I took an Abstract class this summer with Larry Moore to try working from line drawings, picking a concept and interpreting it on canvas with acrylics. The method was new and I don't usually work with acrylics so class was a challenge. I did one painting that I liked because it was more "painterly" and not outside my comfort zone.

My mentor still considers this a good beginning in abstract and needs many more layers. But, I am still attached to it emotionally so have set it aside till a later distance of time.
