Venice for Fun

I was doing a watercolor exercise from a Barbara Nechis video and it began to look like Venice. Got so into it that I forgot to post some preliminary pictures.

I had a piece of canvas with a poured background left from another painting and it looked like the water and the palette of colors I was working with, so I roughed the edge and attached it.
