Arrived in Venice

With this watercolor, I fine tuned some of the colors so that they traveled throughout the painting and made some final corrections to the curve on one building that made it look crooked. Think I am done and will live with it for a few more days before saying that's it.  The hardest thing sometimes is to know when to stop. One of the things I especially like in this watercolor painting is the gateways through to other parts of the city. We arrived at the hotel late at night because of Sunday traffic and thought we had missed dinner. Not in Italy. The Concierge sent a young boy to lead us through several passageways to a wonderful restaurant and waited for us so that he could lead us back to the hotel. Gratzi!
